What is airlaid cellulose and why does it matter for shower towels?
Airlaid bonds cellulose fibres without weaving or knitting, producing a soft, highly absorbent and lint-free sheet. Unlike standard nonwoven fabrics containing polyester, 100% cellulose airlaid is biodegradable and absorbs moisture more effectively making it better suited to body drying applications where softness and absorbency are both priorities.
Are these towels biodegradable?
Yes. Made from 100% cellulose with no synthetic fibres, DHB BIO-ECO Airlaid Shower Towels biodegrade naturally without leaving synthetic residue a more environmentally responsible choice compared to polyester-blend alternatives.
Are these towels soft enough for direct skin contact?
Yes. The 50 gsm cellulose airlaid construction is soft and gentle against skin, including sensitised skin after aesthetic or spa treatments. The lint-free surface leaves no fibres on skin during drying.
How many towels are in each pack?
Each pack contains 10 towels, hygienically foil-sealed for clean storage and immediate use.
When will my order arrive?
Orders placed before 2pm are dispatched the same day from our Doncaster warehouse via DPD. 99% of mainland UK orders arrive the next working day.
Are bulk discounts available?
Yes. Orders of 100 towels (10 packs) receive 5% off and orders of 200 towels (20 packs) receive 10% off, applied automatically at checkout.
